Fatal Motorcycle Crashes in Iowa
Unfortunately, fatal motorcycle collisions are far too common in Iowa during the warmer months. When these events happen, our collective hearts hurt for the surviving family and friends. We generally believe the days and weeks following the tragic event should be reserved for grieving and mourning as well as celebrating the life of the departed loved one.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
