Body found in ditch along N. 107th Street in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police are investigating after a body was found in a ditch on Saturday in KCK. Authorities responded to a call of a body found Saturday morning in a ditch along the 4000 block of North 107th Street. Police later found the vehicle of the victim in a ravine, having rolled over several times. The victim has not yet been identified. FOX 4 is on the scene and will have more as details emerge.

A preliminary investigation indicates the man was involved in a single vehicle accident and left the scene on foot, and later died of his injuries. The man was later identified as 37-year-old Nicholas Rodela of Kansas City, Kan.
