One person killed in Hodgeman Count crash

The Hodgeman County Sheriff’s Office reports one person was killed in vehicle crash around 6 p.m. Friday night. The Kansas Highway patrol identifies the victim as 45-year-old Sergio Mendez of Bazine, Kansas. KHP says Mendez was driving a 1996 Mack truck northbound on Hodgeman County Road #228 when the front driver-side tire blew out.  The Patrol said Mendez was ejected when vehicle went into a ditch and rolled multiple times.
