Three vehicles were involved and two people were critically injured. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is assisting and said two medical helicopters were called to the scene.

The driver of the Fusion, 33-year-old Geralyn Hale-Lashley was hospitalized along with three passengers: 27-year-old Brittanya Byrd, as well as two boys, ages 7 and 10. All are from Wichita. Turnpike officials didn't state specifics of their injuries, only that two were in critical condition as of Friday night.
