UPDATE: Man dies after car accident in west Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas – A 21-year-old man has died after he drove his car into a small pond in west Wichita.

Victim identified in west Wichita car accident

Wichita police say the man, identified as Eric E. Bailey, was driving westbound on the feeder road in the 6800 block of W. Kellogg about 12:30 Saturday morning when his car hit a curb and drove into the pond near Party City. Sgt. Brian Sigman said when officers arrived on the scene they found the car submerged upside with the driver still in the vehicle.
