One person died and another was hurt in a vehicle collision on I-235 near MacArthur Road early Saturday.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. The Kansas Highway Patrol said 34-year-old Damien Ware was driving a 2016 Mitsubishi passenger car southbound on I-235 and for an unknown reason, veered to the left of the road and hit a guardrail.
