Man accused in murder told police he did not remember deadly collision

Speaking with police while immobilized in The Medical Center emergency room and wearing a neck brace, Michael "Drew" Hardy told investigators he had no recollection of the deadly collision less than two hours earlier that placed him in the hospital and resulted in a murder charge.

Micheal "Drew" Hardy is charged with murder and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol in the Nov. 21 crash that killed Arthur C. “Jeremy” Pryor Jr., 32. Hardy's Jeep crashed into Pryor's Mazda at about 8:51 p.m. on November 21 at Smallhouse Road and Lois Lane. Pryor, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses indicate that Hardy had been driving recklessly before the accident, and a flask was allegedly found on his person.
