Fatal accident in Hopkins County Ky., deceased identified.

One person died Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle crash which injured two others, including a Henderson resident, and shut down a portion of the Breathitt/Pennyrile parkway for several hours.

One person died Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle crash which injured two others, including a Henderson resident, and shut down a portion of the Breathitt/Pennyrile parkway for several hours.

Cody W. Allen, 22, of Madisonville, the driver of the vehicle, was pronounced dead by the Hopkins County Coroner, according to the Kentucky State Police.

Injured in the collision were Amber A. Harrison, 20, Henderson, and Thomas W. Hawkins, 22, Hanson. Both were flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Their conditions were immediately unavailable.

Authorities said alcohol could be a factor in this accident.

Cody had a license and I don't think Cody was driving and their was no autopsy done I hope god deals with Thomas and that girl till they have to tell the truth

Cody allen was the only unlicensed person in the vehicle both hawkins and harrison were licensed my question is why if in truth was he behind the wheel of a vehicle registered in the name of one of the other vehicle occupants and would like to say that an offical autopsy should determine if he was behind the wheel

you should keep your comments to yourself about any of the victims of this crash. How would you like it if you saw a post like this about your deceased loved one? Show a little respect and grow up. God, you people have no class whatsoever.  Just flat out tacky and poor taste in judgment making such comments when people died in this tragic accident. Keep your comments to yourself or at least have enough respect for yourself to hold your conversations in private and face to face. This is completely uncalled for.
