Cyclist killed after being hit by car in Owensboro
According to Owensboro Police, a car that was driving north on Carter Road hit a male cyclist who was trying to cross the street just north of Griffith Avenue.
UPDATE: Cyclist Killed in Accident Identified
The Daviess Co. Coroner has released the name of a man killed in an accident yesterday, after he was struck by a car, while riding his bicycle.
The name of the man who was killed was Michael E. Snider, 62, of Owensboro. Snider was pronounced dead at the scene after the accident.
