Frank Barnett killed in crash between truck and tractor trailer on US 25E in Bell County, Kentucky

One person dies in Bell County accident

Officials with KSP, Bell County Volunteer Fire Department, Bell County Rescue Squad, Middlesboro Police Department and Middlesboro Fire Department Ambulance were on the scene. An accident between a livestock truck and a tractor trailer leaves one dead in Bell County. The higher volume of traffic lead to another accident where another tractor trailer and a Middlesboro Fire Truck ran into the ditch. The accident shutdown US 25E for a few hours on Saturday morning. While the road was shut down, traffic was rerouted onto Old Pineville Pike.

Man dies in Bell County crash

Investigators say Frank Barnett of Pineville, Kentucky was stopped on the south bound shoulder in a 1967 Chevrolet cattle truck. Barnett attempted to merge into traffic before his vehicle was struck by a 2000 Volvo road tractor.
