A salt truck was involved in a deadly accident on KY-92 East in Whitley County. Whitley County coroner Andy Croley confirmed that he has been called to the scene of the accident.
BREAKING NEWS: Williamsburg man dies in fatal crash
The crash occurred sometime after noon about three miles east of the junction of Ky. 92E and US25W near the horseshoe curves. Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley pronounced the victim, who was the driver of the passenger car, dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released yet pending formal notification of family members. Croley said that there were two other occupants in the passenger vehicle. One was in the back seat and the other was in the front passenger's seat. Both passengers were transported to the hospital for treatment.
