Well-known Kentucky accident attorney Darryl Isaacs was riding his bicycle on River Road at about 4:55pm, and was slowing and signaling to make a left turn onto Indian Hills Trail, when he was struck by a vehicle from behind. Isaacs was thrown from his bicycle into the windshield of the car before he fell onto the roadway. Isaacs sustained serious injuries, but has been recovering and began to work again as of February 23. The driver of the car, Michael S. Baumann, 20, claimed that he could not see Isaacs because of the sun obstructing his vision. Currently, as Baumann was not speeding nor did he have alcohol in his system, he has not been charged.
