"My children do not have a grandmother," Duvall said. "My grandmother doesn't have a daughter. My uncle doesn't have a sister. My cousins don't have a cousin. You're affecting people's lives."
Anita Marie Duvall was hit by a concrete truckwhile crossing 12th St. and Broadway, and suffered serious injuries. She died a week and a half later from complications. The truck was owned by Advance Ready Mix Concrete, a company that is currently being sued for another pedestrian death that occured six months earlier.
