Traffic blocked, drivers injured in Christian County wreck

Both drivers in a wreck involving a brine truck and an empty school bus in Christian County have been taken to a hospital, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says early reports indicate the state brine truck was headed westbound on Interstate 24 near the Kentucky Welcome Center when it was rear-ended by the empty school bus. Todd says westbound traffic is blocked at the site, and it's expected to stay that way for up to three hours. He says westbound traffic should take I-24 Tennessee exit 4 or exit 1 at Clarksville and seek a connection to US 41-Alternate to return to I-24 at the Hopkinsville-Fort Campbell exit 86.
