Wednesday, November 22, 201786-year-old Quitman man dies in vehicle crash
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2012 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 86-year-old Eddie Barnes Sr. of Quitman, was traveling across both south bound lanes from Old Quitman Highway. As Barnes was traveling across US 167, his vehicle was struck by a 2016 Ford F-150, driven by 35-year-old Jesse Lamey of Ruston.
