Lafayette man dies from injuries after hes ejected from vehicle that overturned on US 90 in Terrebonne Parish

The Suburban overturned several times. Villafuerte, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Thibodaux Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries, Harrell said. The rear passenger in the Suburban was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, Harrell said. The passenger was transported to University Hospital in New Orleans, where he died from his injuries.
