Hahnville teen dies in traffic accident, authorities report

A 17-year-old Hahnville girl was killed in an early morning traffic accident Monday (June 29) in Hahnville, St. They found the girl, identified as Bailee Winters, partially ejected from the vehicle. According to a Sheriff's Office news release, deputies responded to reports of an overturned vehicle on River Park Drive in Hahnville around 2 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release states. The accident is under investigation, authorities said.
