JPSO: Woman killed in hit-and-run Tuesday night in Marrero
JPSO received reports of the crash around shortly before 11 p.m. Deputies arrived at the intersection of Ames Boulevard and 6th Avenue in Marrero and found a woman lying in the road suffering from injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run crash that killed Gabrielle Dixon, including the vehicle involved or the identity of the driver, is asked to call the Sheriff's Office investigations bureau at 504.364.5300.
