Hit-and-run death of woman at Acadia Park investigated

Nicole Mokeme, 35, of South Portland, was struck on the campus of the Schoodic Education and Research Center between late Saturday and early Sunday, state police said Monday in a news release.

Maine State Police announced the death of Nicole Mokeme on Monday afternoon and said it is believed to be an isolated incident. They are asking for help in finding a black BMW that may have been involved.
