Icy road conditions are being blamed for a fatal crash Saturday night on Route 2. Maine State Police said the driver of a Jeep Wrangler lost control on the ice and hit a Chevy Tahoe head-on.

All seven of the people in the Tahoe — driver Michael Pease, 43, his wife Heather Willis, 41, and their five children ages 8 to 17, all of Industry, were taken to Sebasticook Valley Hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening, McCausland said.
