Connecticut man charged with providing alcohol to Boothbay Harbor teens before fatal crash

An initial investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. The vehicle struck several trees before coming to rest.

Hebron man arrested in double fatal crash in Maine

Gerardi was transported to the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset where bail was set at $5,000 cash, which police said he was unable to post.

A Hebron man has been charged for his role in a Maine crash that killed two people early Wednesday.

William Gerardi, 21, is charged with one felony count of furnishing liquor to a minor after Maine police learned that that prior to the crash, he “provided liquor to both occupants of the fatal crash while at a residence on Merry Lane in Boothbay.”

The Lincoln County, Maine, Sheriff’s Office identified the driver in the Boothbay double fatal crash earlier today as 19-year-old Casey Dalton, Boothbay. Police withheld the identity of the 17-year-old passenger.

Gerardi was transported to the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset where bail was set at $5,000 cash, which police said he was unable to post.
