2 joggers hit by car in Calvert County

Two joggers are in "stable" condition after being struck by a car on Saturday in Calvert County. According to sheriff's office authorities, a car hit entered Route 260 from Saint Andrews Drive in Chesapeake Beach and left the road, striking two pedestrians who were jogging on the shoulder. Twenty-eight-year-old Katie Allen of Owings, Md and 20-year-old Thomas Molino of Lothian, Md. were transported to Prince George's Hospital Center via Maryland State Police Medevac. 
The two joggers are listed in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle that struck them remained on scene and was the first to call 911, and no charges have been made at this time.
