Geraldine Correia, 72, killed in car crash with alleged drunk driver Robert Hansen, 52, on State Road in Fall River, Massachusetts

A Westport man is due in court Monday morning to face several charges after afatal rollover crash claimed the life of 72-year-old Geraldine Correia. Police charged 52-year-old Robert Hansen with motor vehicle homicide by operating under the influence and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Prosecutors say 52-year-old Robert Hansen was driving 85 miles per hour and had an open bottle of tequila in his sport utility vehicle when he crashed into another vehicle in Westport Friday evening. Police say 73-year-old Geraldine Correia, of Dartmouth, was thrown from her vehicle as it rolled over. The defense argued that there are numerous reasons why Hansen may have failed his field sobriety tests. (Copyright (c) 2015 The Associated Press.
