Accident closed part of Rt. 10 in East hampton

An accident involving a car and a motorcycle closed a section of Route 10, Northampton Street in Easthampton, Wednesday night. A dispatcher who answered the telephone at Easthampton Police Headquarters confirmed for 22News that police had closed part of Northampton Street “from the old Fedor’s dealership to Lyman Street.” A viewer submitted a photograph through our Report-it feature. The photo showed a passenger vehicle with significant front end damage, and a motorcycle on its side. The vehicles were on opposite sides of the street.
