“How many more fatal or serious pedestrian accidents need to happen here before the city/county/state puts in a crossover? Or a separate crosswalk further south closer to apartments and Mobil.”
A 49-year-old Highland Township man was driving north in the middle lane of Telegraph Road when struck a 51-year-old Pontiac man, who was then pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown why the man would have been in the middle of the road or if he was trying to cross; check back for updates.
