The man was discovered lying in the road screaming for help by a passerby and a neighbor, who called 911, according to police.

“I looked out the window and there's a guy right in front of my house and the driveway on the ground, and he's just writhing in pain,” he said. He called 9-1-1 and said paramedics arrived within 10 minutes.
Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that hit an 87-year-old man Saturday and fled the scene. Sylvan Lake police said the West Bloomfield man was walking on Warwick Avenue around 10:50 a.m. when he was hit from behind and was dragged for approximately 90 feet after his clothes got tangled in the vehicle.
