An Amish buggy was extensively damaged but no one involved reported injuries to police following a two-vehicle crash involving an SUV and an Amish buggy in Michigan's Thumb.
At 1:30 PM Wednesday a 31-year-old man was driving his SUV and struck an Amish buggy driven by a 42-year-old man with an 18-year-old passenger on Cass City Road near Cass City, Michigan. The SUV's driver was attempting to pass the buggy and lost control on the icy road, rear-ending the buggy. The accident caused extensive damage to the buggy, however its occupants did not report any injuries. The horse sustained minor cuts, but is believed to be fine, according to police investigators.
