MSP investigate 2 deadly weekend accidents

Two people were killed in a one-car crash early Sunday morning on Hill Road, west of Elms, in Genesee County's Gaines Township. Troopers say a 25-year-old man from Lennon was killed when his car left the road and hit a tree. His passenger, a 31-year-old woman from Lennon, later died at the hospital from her injuries.

2 dead after Sunday morning crash

It happened about 12:40 a.m. on Oct. 11 on Hill Road in Gaines Township. The passenger in the vehicle, a 31-year-old female from Lennon, also died as a result of the crash. She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was listed in critical condition. A25-year-old male from Lennon was traveling westbound on Hill Road, west of Elms Road, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, police said. Two people were killed in a vehicle accident Sunday morning.

Two killed in crash near roundabout

Obituary information indicates that Francis was a 2008 graduate of Linden High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio, where he earned a degree in high performance auto technology. Francis worked at GM Powertrain in Pontiac. Gil worked for Sears.
