Driver minorly injured when truck carrying over 100 pigs overturns on M-37 near Foss Avenue in Newaygo County, Michigan

Many of the pigs were injured and about half of them died. The driver was taking the pigs from Valley View Pork in Walkerville to Cassopolis. Newaygo County Undersheriff, Brian Boyd, said, "We've had volunteers show up, the farm has actually sent us several livestock trailers, we've got probably 20 or so people trying to round up the animals."
