The wreck happened around 5:40 a.m. on westbound I-96 near mile marker 2. The Fruitport Township Police Department says a vehicle left the road and went into the median, then drove back onto the road, then left the right side of the road and rolled over.
Chandler, of Muskegon County, was pronounced dead on the scene. His passenger, a 22-year-old Muskegon County man, was hospitalized with minor injuries and later released.
