Rex Baird, 93, killed and Frances Baird, 91, critically injured in wrong-way 2-pickup crash on Knapp St in Ada Township, Michigan

According to police, 18-year-old Connor Dipzinski was eastbound in a Ford pickup on Knapp Street NE near Egypt Valley Drive when he lost control on the wet road, crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, and struck a westbound pickup driven by 93-year-old Rex Baird at around 4:30 p.m. Baird died at the scene, while his wife, 91-year-old Frances Baird, who was riding in the front passenger seat, was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. Dipzinski was brought to the hospital with minor injuries.
