16-Year-Old Girl Killed, Sister Injured In Mound Road Crash
Police said the 16-year-old girl was driving with her sister on Mound Road, just north of 25 Mile Road, Sunday afternoon when the single-car crash occurred.
One killed in single-vehicle crash
Shelby Township Police Lt. Jeff Daniel said that upon arrival, police discovered that the passenger, Brittney Dushaj, had been ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. At approximately 1:35 p.m. Feb. 6, Deputy Police Chief Mark Coil sent out a press release saying that Dushaj had died earlier in the day as a result of her injuries.
