Crews on scene of 3-car crash north of Walker
Emergency responders are on the scene of a three-vehicle crash on a rural road north of Walker.
The crash happened around 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of 6 Mile Road and Fruit Ridge Avenue in Alpine Township. One of the vehicles rolled over, according Kent County Dispatch.
Dispatchers say there are serious injuries, but did not specify the nature of those injuries or how many people were hurt.

Neighbors said the Oct. 8 and Sunday wrecks were the fifth and sixth fatal crashes in more than 30 years there, but they don’t blame the intersection.
“How can you miss that stop sign?” William Minch wondered. “You tell me that somebody doesn’t see them?”

Ted Vandenbrink, 40, pleaded no contest Monday, April 10, to a felony charge of operating while intoxicated causing death.
