Police shut down westbound I-496 for hours Tuesday night for a three car accident that left at least two people dead.

The Eaton County Sheriff's Office said Kelly McNamara, 59; Linda Foote, 66; and Kevin Trusty, 57, were killed in the crash. All three were Lansing residents.
