Single-vehicle crash in Lenawee County kills 16-year-old driver, police say

Investigators said roads were icy at the time of the crash which remains under investigation by the Lenawee County Sheriff's Office.
A 16-year-old Lenawee County teen was killed in a single vehicle accident Monday morning. Brody Fry was the driver and only occupant of a 2001 Ford pick-up truck that left the roadway on Skinner Highway and struck a tree. Police said Fry, an Onsted High School student, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fry was northbound on Skinner Highway at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 17 when his vehicle left the east side of the roadway, went airborne and struck a tree. The crash occurred  a-quarter-mile south of Rome Road in Rome Township.
