Bloomfield Hills woman, 81, dies in Northern Michigan crash

Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts, deputies said. Alcohol was not deemed a factor. 
Joan Cavanaugh, 81, of Bloomfield Hills, Oakland County, was killed in a car collision in Northern Michigan on M-72 in Whitewater Township about 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 10. Cavanaugh was the passenger in a Chevy Tracker SUV driven by her husband. for unknown reasons the car crossed the centerline of M-72 and collided with an oncoming Ford Five Hundred sedan. Donald Cavanaugh, 82, was driving the Tracker. Angela Cram, 26, of Rapid City, was driving the Ford.
