Three teens are facing charges after a deadly crash in Buckley back in April. Gavin Luther, 17-years-old, was killed after he lost control of the vehicle on Jewell Rd. carrying three teenage passengers.
Man faces alcohol charge stemming from fatal crash
Grand Traverse County sheriff’s Capt. Randy Fewless said a police report submitted to prosecutors included a requested charge against the man, 22, who is accused of furnishing alcohol to a minor involved in an April 18 crash.

A male teen, 17, was driving a vehicle with passengers including two Rapid City girls, ages 16 and 14, and a Buckley boy, 16, when the vehicle crashed on Saturday at around 11 p.m. on Jewell Road near Ramsey Road. The vehicle overturned. The three passengers were taken to Munson Medical Center. Their current conditions are unknown at this time. Authorities are still investigating the crash.
