2 Novi Men Killed In Labor Day Crash Up North

Police in Charlevoix County say two men from metro Detroit were killed when their vehicle crashed on Labor Day. The accident happened around 12:20 a.m. Monday on Norwood Road, about a mile west of US-31 in Norwood Township. Police say speed appears to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation. Both men are from Novi.

Two southeast Michigan men killed in Labor Day crash

Sheriff's deputies were called at 12:21 a.m. Sept. 7 to Norwood Road about a mile west of U.S. 31. They found a 1998 Dodge pickup truck had left the road on a left hand curve and struck a tree, impacting the driver's side.

Two Novi men die in Charlevoix County crash early Monday

The Charlevoix County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at scene by the Antrim County Sheriff’s Office, Charlevoix Ambulance, the Charlevoix Township Fire Department, and the Banks Township Fire Department. Authorities said although speed is believed to be a factor in the the crash remains under investigation.
