The Duluth Police Department says a 30-year-old Duluth man was seriously injured after a three-vehicle accident on Grand Avenue Friday morning.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing seat belts, police said. Drug or alcohol impairment is not suspected for any of the drivers.
According to the Duluth Police Department, at 10:15 Friday morning a Jeep Cherokee was traveling west on Grand Avenue when its driver lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic, and was struck by a Nissan Rogue. Then, a third vehicle struck the Jeep on the 8500 block of Grand Avenue. A 30-year-old Duluth man identifed as Brandon James Huseby was taken to Essentia Health-St. Mary's with life-threatening injuries, while a 28-year-old Duluth woman identified as Cassandra Mae Hancock was also taken St. Mary's with minor injuries.
