Driver Aaron Cook, 35, and passenger Sheryl Reed, 33, dead after car-train collision at Highway 11 near Warroad, MN

At around 5:30pm, a car driven by Cook that Reed was riding in slowed at a stop sign on Highway 11, but still continued onto the railroad tracks despite an approaching train and was struck by it on the driver's side, killing both people in the car. The train engineer was not injured in the crash.
