Randy Kopesky, 65, killed in pedestrian collision on Interstate 94 in Washington County, Minnesota

Kopesky was a prominent figure in Washington County. He was serving as a Lakeland Shores city councilman and he was the former mayor of the town. He was also heavily involved in the veterans charity Yellow Ribbon Alliance Lower St. Croix Valley, the organization said.
