Two killed, two injured in crashes near Zumbrota

A Mayo Clinic helicopter went to the scene, the report says.
A two-car accident south of Cannon Falls, Minnesota has injured one person near Cannon Falls, Minnesota. The accident occured on Highway 52. Earl Booth, 54, was driving his car south when he struck a guardrail and his car spun around, being struck by another southbound car driven by Kelly J. Hovel, 38. Booth was sent to the Saint Marys Campus of Mayo Clinic Hospital. His injuries were reported as non-life-threatening. The passengers in the second vehicle were her spouse, Kelly A. Hovel, 37, Brody N. Hovel, 7, and Brynn R. Hovel, 3. None of them were injured, and all of them were wearing seatbelts. This was the second accident on this stretch of Highway 52 within 30 minutes last night.
