Man, 50, Killed in Maple Grove Crash
A Blaine man is dead after a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in Maple Grove. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office says 50-year-old Tony Bjorklund died of blunt force injuries.
The crash at 12:12 p.m. Friday at County Road 81 and Elm Creek Boulevard closed the intersection for about three hours. Maple Grove police said Bjorklund was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries. The other driver wasn’t hurt.
