Lindi Paul, 36, Emma Paul, 5, Michael Oboyle, 65, killed, Annabelle Oboyle, 4, Kathrym Oboyle, 65, Owen Oboyle, 8, seriously injured, taken to hospital, after a head-on crash on Highway 169 near St. Peter.

A St. Peter woman, her 5-year-old daughter, and a Marion, South Dakota man died Sunday after a head-on collision on Highway 169, southwest of the metro. The crash occurred at 1 p.m. near milepost 58 in Nicollet County, between St. Peter and Mankato. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 36-year-old Lindi Paul of St. Peter was driving a Dodge Caliber when she lost control of the vehicle and it crossed the center median, crashing head-on with a Ford F-150. Lindi Paul and her daughter Emma died after the crash. The driver of the truck, 65-year old Michael Oboyle, also died following the crash. The occupants of the truck, 65-year-old Kathryn Oboyle and 8-year-old Owen Oboyle suffered non-life threatening injuries, while 4-year-old Annabelle Oboyle was seriously injured. \ According to the State Patrol, alcohol was not detected at the scene.
