The crash happened about 2:22 a.m. on the westbound side of the interstate near Concord Street.
Edina man killed on South St. Paul interstate
The Edina man was struck and killed about 2 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 494. The patrol says at least two semis were involved in the fatal accident. The truck drivers, a 57-year-old Coon Rapids man and a 63-year-old man from Hammond, Wisconsin, were not injured.

Oden played hockey for four seasons in Faribault, Minn., at Shattuck-St. Mary's prep school. This past season, the defenseman played junior hockey in Canada, most recently for Rayside-Balfour Canadians in northern Ontario and was expected to return to the team this fall.
