1 Killed in Dodge County Rollover

The Minnesota State Patrol says one person was killed in a rollover crash Friday in Dodge County. The crash happened about 4:17 p.m. on 275th Avenue north of County Road 5. Three teenage passengers were not wearing seat belts and were thrown from the car. According to the state patrol, a Ford Taurus went off the road and rolled in the ditch. The 17-year-old driver and the two other passengers were taken to a hospital.

(AP) - The Minnesota State Patrol says one teenager is dead and three others hurt after a rollover in the southeast part of the state. The 17-year-old girl who was driving the car was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, along with two other teenage girls. Authorities say an 18-year-old man from Dodge Center was killed Friday after he was thrown from the Ford Taurus. The patrol says alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash. The patrol identifies the victim, who was a passenger, as Logan Maas of Dodge Center.

Driver Charged In ‘Whoopee Hill’ Death

The Dodge County Attorney’s Office has charged Candace Marie Utech, 17, with one felony count of criminal vehicular homicide and a misdemeanor count of reckless driving.
