Woman charged in Tuesday night fatal crash

A 41-year-old Tupelo woman has been charged with DUI-death after a wreck took the life of a Tupelo man. Green pronounced Rice dead at the scene around 9:30 p.m.
According to Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green, James Dalton Rice, 20, was an unrestrained passenger in an SUV and was ejected from the vehicle around 9:15 p.m. near Jackson Street. While making the turn off of West Jackson Street, the vehicle driven by Garcia left the road and rolled over.
