A young Moselle man died Wednesday afternoon, May 6, when the motorcycle he was riding crashed head-on with a pickup truck on Monroe Road in the Shelton community of Jones County. Justin Edward Willoughby, 22, was pronounced deceased at the crash site at the intersection of Monroe Road and Dogwood Lake Road. The collision apparently happened when the Yamaha motorcycle driven by Willoughby crashed into the Ford pickup as the pickup was turning onto Dogwood Lake Road.
