Adult, child injured in two vehicle accident in Ellisville
Two people, including a small child, were sent to the hospital Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident on Interstate-59 in Jones County.
Two victims involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision on Interstate 59 at 12:18 p.m., just south of the 85 mile marker in Ellisville Friday have been identified. Cayden Magee, 2, was transported to University Medical Center in Jackson, where he died. The driver of the Dodge Avenger was Kelsey Eubanks, 20. She and her child were critically injured when their car exited the road and collided with a tree after hitting a dump truck. The truck driver was not injured.
