Deadly Train Accident
A man has been hit and killed by a train in Edwards, MS. It happened around 1:30 Thursday morning at the intersection of Mt. Moriah Road and Vicksburg Road.
Edwards man struck and killed by train identified
Officials have identified the man hit and killed by a train in Edwards early Thursday morning as Milton Stokes, Jr.
According to the Edwards Police Department, Stokes was from Edwards, and that the railroad tracks went by his back door. His body was found more than 100 feet from the original point of impact.
